Grants perks based on bosses killed while having it equipped.
- King slime: 20% increased whip size (10% in calamity)
- Eye of Cthulhu: Increases whip damage by 10%
- Eater of Worlds: Summon damage penetrates 5 armor
- Brain of Cthulhu: 5% increased minion damage
- Queen Bee: Minion hits can inflict poison
- Deerclops: Minion hits can spawn shadow hands
- Skeletron: Increases minion knockback
- Wall of Flesh: Increases max number of minions by 1
Additionally, if calamity is installed:
- Desert Scourge: Increases maximum life by 5
- Crabulon: Enemies struck by whips glow slightly
- Hive Mind: Occasionally spawns Shade Nimbus to rain on enemies
- Perforators: Occasionally spawns ichor blobs on minion hits
- Slime God: 10% increased whip size
Additional information
- You need to have this equipped to gain a perk on killing a boss.
- You need to participate in the boss kill to gain a perk from it.
- Perks are saved per player, not per item. Even if you lose the item and craft a new one, your character will retain the perks.
